I also prefer the reformed changelings. It was nice to see that changelings were not innately bad, but I really enjoyed seeing them
transform into colorful versions.
I know that many fans miss the old changeling design, and I understand why, but honestly, I like the reformed changelings better because to me, the colorful designs show more individuality and thus it's easier to tell them apart, compared to the old changelings.
I understand those who like the original dark design, since for years we were used to the dark design, so for many it was jarring to see an appearance change. But hey, many of their basic aspects, such as eye shape and wing shape, are still the same.
